Rain

So practically all of Eastern N. Carolina is underwater right now. I had to take the trecherous journey home from Morehead City in this downpour. It was such a nightmare, beleive me, if you're reading this and you live in the area, please just stay home. It's insane out there. I am so glad that I got my rain boots a few weeks ago. I knew they would be a good investment. I didn't know at the time how good, but today I definitely know.

It's definitely one of those days, I just want to curl up in front of the TV, light a million candles, make some hot chocolate, and watch a movie. I wish Jordan were here. There's something so comforting in the thought of snuggling up next to him during this movie and watching him as he's sleeping. (He always falls asleep during movies) and letting the sound of the rain lull me to sleep as well. One more month. I just have to hang in for one more month.

BTW: I loathe driving in the rain. I'm totally staying in for the rest of the day. Our street is like a river.
