4th of July

I had a good time last night. I briefly considered walking to the park with Ellie, but I got to the end of the street before I realized that I was going to have to walk back to the house alone...in the dark. So I changed my mind. My friend Rachel from work invited me to a little get together at her friends house where we could see the Havelock fireworks. I was totally nervous being around people I didn't know, but Rachel's family and friends are so nice and they really welcomed me. I had a really good fourth. I had really good company. I miss Jordan. I wish he could have walked with me to the park. I wouldn't have been scared if he were there.
