The Semper Wife

I want to be "that" marine wife.

I want to be the wife that's at all the Family Readiness meetings, who organizes fundraisers, goes to marine spouse meetings. I want to be the wife that keeps herself busy because there's no other way to function when he's gone. I want to be the wife that not only supports her husband 100%, but supports his friends, and his friends wives, and his squadron, and all other marines 100%. I want to be the wife who has the "Semper Fi" sweater on, or the "Marines" keychain. I want to be the wife who is SUPER motivated and that other spouses feed off of her motivation. I want to be the marine wife who doesn't cry unless she is completely alone. I want to be the marine wife who takes things as they come with an "Oorah!" attitude.

That woman, those women, they are my heroes. They are so strong and courageous and I look up to them.
