I can finally write about being in Indiana since it's no longer a surprise. I'm so glad we came back. I missed everything so much. The drive here was so fun. Lex and James did so good in the car, except for James being loud and obnoxious.
First we stopped by Jordans parents house and ate some food. His dad was not home, so we decided to drop the "kids" off at my parents house and head over to the mall to surprise my mom. Lol oh my gosh she was so happy to see us. She was so surprised it was so fun. Then we went back to my parents house and waited for my dad to come home. He wasn't so surprised because Dan already ruined the surprise. It's alright though because he was still surprised and happy to see us.
We went back to Jordans parents house and his dad was there and we just walked in the house. I love surprising people. It's so fun.
So far, no one has really mentioned anything about my religion or my hijab. Of that I am grateful. I would rather have no feedback than bad feedback and I'm honestly not really concerned with good feedback because it would only feel patronizing, even if it's not.
But the familiar streets and familiar people is wonderful. It's so good to be home.
